Delivery man dies in gas agency warehouse fire

A delivery man at Kulwal Bharat Gas Agency's warehouse in Sikar's Shrimadhopur area died Tuesday after suffering severe burns in a fire, triggering a nearly six-hour protest by family members and villagers who alleged murder and demanded an impartial investigation. Yadav had worked with the agency for about 15 years. Initial information said he poured petrol on himself and set himself on fire. His family disputed the sequence of events, raised suspicion of murder and staged a sit-in. They demanded that senior officials be called to the spot, a post-mortem by a medical board, an impartial probe, action against those responsible, Rs 1 crore compensation and a contractual job for a dependent. tnn
