Body of intruder handed over to Pak Rangers

Jammu: BSF handed over the body of a Pakistani intruder, who was killed near the International Border in Ramgarh sector in J&K’s Samba district on Jan 25, to Pakistan Rangers late Tuesday.“The deceased was identified as Muhammad Arif (59), a resident of Mansala Kalan, in Shalamar district of Lahore, Pakistan. He was killed near the border fence at border outpost Majra, Ramgarh,” said an official.After completing necessary legal and procedural formalities, the body was brought to Suchetgarh in the border town of Ranbir Singh Pura, Jammu, for deportation proceedings. BSF and their Pakistani counterparts coordinated for the handover procedure at BOP Octroi, Suchetgarh, officials stated.
