Kanpur: In an effort to address rising stress levels and promote mental well-being, the initiative Muskuraye Kanpur has launched its third Happiness Center in Kanpur. The centre is themed “How to Keep the Mind Happy” and aims to help individuals cope with modern-day challenges such as work pressure, poor time management and work-life imbalance.
Speaking as the chief guest, MLA Surendra Maithani emphasised that mental health is as important as physical infrastructure. “Along with roads, electricity and water, mental well-being is also an essential part of development. A happy mind leads to a prosperous family and society,” he said.
Explaining the vision behind the initiative, Dr Sidhanshu Rai said the new centre is a step towards transforming Kanpur into a “stress-free city.” He highlighted that happiness largely depends on one’s mindset. “While external circumstances may not always be in our control, we can certainly work on changing our state of mind,” he added.
The Happiness Center is expected to conduct sessions and activities focused on improving emotional resilience, encouraging positive thinking and helping people lead more balanced lives.
