SHO transferred for visiting spa on duty

Kochi: City police on Thursday transferred an inspector as part of departmental action after VACB sleuths found the officer at a spa in the city during duty hours. The action was taken against AK Sudheer, station house officer (SHO) of Thrikkakara police station. He was transferred to the Armed Reserve (AR) camp in Ernakulam. The VACB team found the officer at the spa in Cheranallor last Saturday during an inspection. Although VACB received information that the officer used to frequent the spa and collect money, they could not find any evidence to substantiate the same.
