‘Free Kaiserbaghspace for parking’

Lucknow: Directives were issued to remove encroachments in front of Amir-ud-daula library, create two-wheeler parking for Kaiserbagh market, repair drainage to prevent waterlogging, shift police booths for smoother traffic and enforce no-parking and no-vending zones around the busy intersection by divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob during surprise inspection of Kaiserbagh crossing and bus stand.Jacob ordered to create space to park two-wheelers in Kaiserbagh and asked jalkal department to repair drainage and sewer lines to prevent waterlogging.Police booths were to be shifted and area within 50 metres of Kaiserbagh crossings will be no-vending and no-parking zone. Enforcement teams were ordered to challan tempos, e-rickshaws and auto rickshaws violating rules and implement one-way traffic plan. UPSRTC officials at Kaiserbagh bus station were asked to stop Barabanki depot buses and park them at Kamta depot and operate bus stand strictly as one-way. LMC was asked to take over operation of under-park facility.Jacob inspected the under-construction Chakbast parking and directed that the remaining work be completed within the deadline. The inspection was attended by LDA Vice Chairperson Prathamesh Kumar, Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Lalit Kumar, and other officials.
