Hotel owner shot at in Kanpur

KANPUR: In a broad day light incident, a restaurant owner was shot at at Halsi road crossing in Moolganj police circle over a petty issue. However, the police have arrested the accused who had shot at the hotel owner.

KANPUR: In a broad day light incident, a restaurant owner was shot at at Halsi road crossing in Moolganj police circle over a petty issue. However, the police have arrested the accused who had shot at the hotel owner.
According to the police, the owner of Bhishnav Ranjeet Hotel identified as Sardar Ranjeet Singh was shot at by a client Mohammad Nisar alias Munna of Anwarganj when he refused to provide him dal and roti for Rs 5.

The police said that Munna first came to the hotel owner and asked him to provide dal and roti for Rs 5. However, the hotel owner refused to do so for the said amount. Munna then left the hotel and went away.
