Lucknow: The 88-year-old founder of City Montessori School, Jagdish Gandhi, remains in critical condition as he undergoes treatment at Medanta Hospital. Gandhi, who suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, was admitted to the hospital's critical care unit on December 28, 2023.
Director of Medanta, Prof Rakesh Kapoor, said that Gandhi is currently on life support in the ICU, and his condition remains critical. A team of critical care specialists is diligently monitoring his health. Prof Kapoor assured, “We are working hard to provide Gandhi with the best possible care.”
Jagdish Gandhi, along with his wife Bharti Gandhi, founded City Montessori School in 1959. The school has since grown to become the largest private school chain in India, with over 60,000 students.
