SP’s PDA slogan fake, stands for ‘Parivar Development Agency’: Dy CM Maurya
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya during TOI event
Lucknow: Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said the PDA (Pichhda, Dalits and Alpsankhyak) narrative being promoted by the Samajwadi Party is completely fake and it actually stands for ‘Parivar Development Agency’.“SP leaders have only worked in the interest of their family members and relatives without caring for the public. Only BJP is working for all segments of the society while following the sabka saath, sabka vikas mantra,” said Maurya during the ‘Defining Years of Transformation’ conclave organised by TOI.The deputy CM also expressed confidence that the BJP will return to power in UP for the third time in 2027.“I have always prayed to Banke Bihari for the lotus to bloom. My visit to Banke Bihari temple or other shrines is not for personal gain. I seek blessings for all countrymen and pray to the deity to fulfil their needs,” he said.Maurya said after the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the public continued to stand strongly behind the saffron party by ensuring victory in a series of state polls.“We have been securing historic mandates thereafter in state polls. In 2024, we got a two-thirds majority in Haryana, three-fourths of the seats in Maharashtra and then took over Delhi after a gap of 27 years.
The victory march of the BJP continued thereafter as we secured Bihar after a two-decade-long run. Our biggest achievement was winning Bengal,” said Maurya, adding that BJP was going to be in the driving seat for the next 21 years.Maurya urged the audience to not even provide a handful of seats to SP or any other opposition party.“BJP is here to introduce several new reforms and progressive policies in the interest of the public. The opposition only believes in disrupting the proceedings in the House and block the positive steps that we take,” he said.Maurya added that the two terms of BJP govt and nine years that have gone by so far are going to be remembered as a historic period and golden age, which took UP on the path of development and progress at an unmatched pace compared to what has been witnessed in the past.
