Lucknow: The
Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) has approved 13 new residential and commercial projects with a cumulative estimated investment of Rs 3,052.73 crore across eight districts of the state. The projects are expected to create around 4,772 housing and commercial units.
Ghaziabad accounted for the highest number of approved projects, investment value and units. Four projects worth Rs 1,936.72 crore, including three commercial and one residential project, were cleared in the district, involving development of 2,199 units.
Gautam Budh Nagar ranked second with approval for one commercial project worth Rs 420.50 crore comprising 855 commercial units. In Agra, two residential projects worth Rs 246.94 crore received approval and will add 797 residential units. Lucknow also received approval for two residential projects involving Rs 216.14 crore and 364 units. Other districts where projects were approved include Mathura, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Barabanki. These projects include both residential and commercial developments.
Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy said, “The projects cleared regulatory requirements before receiving approval.”
