Two men open fire at medicine trader’s house
Ludhiana: Two unidentified assailants on a bike opened fire at the house of a wholesale medicine trader in Kitchlu Nagar early on Monday. The victim came to know about the incident in the morning, when he found bullet marks on the wall. The incident was also captured in the CCTV camera installed at the spot, in which two accused have been captured.Family members claimed that neither did they have a rivalry with anyone nor had they receivedany extortion call.Complainant Rishu Kalra said that on Monday morning, he noticed bulletmarks on the walls.“I checked the CCTV camera in which two men who came outside the house on a bike outside the house at around 12:45am were captured. One of the accused waited on the bike, while the other one walked towards the house and shot at least four times,” he said.Kalra said he did not know why anyone would fire at his house.Inspector Rajinderpal Singh, SHO at PAU Police station PAU, said an FIR has been lodged against the unidentified assailants. Police have procured CCTV camera footage and are trying to identify the accused.
