mumbai: the coalition government at the centre is ignoring the swadeshi cause, the swadeshi jagran manch (sjm) has complained. the organisation’s convener ramesh sheth told reporters on tuesday, “�we are not being heard by the government.’’ as proof of the government’s indifference, mr seth said that one central minister had even admitted to sjm members recently that the government was framing its economic policies under pressure from foreign countries.
the sjm will on april 13 start a drive to rope in more followers and to increase awareness about the swadeshi cause—be indian, buy indian. the campaign, which marks the organisations 12th year, will end next may.
