Manoj Jarange Patil is a huge Maratha leader. Fadnavis ji has said that all that is permissible under the Constitution will be done. Manoj Jarange Patil should end his agitation and give the Maharashtra government time.Giving threats every time is not right. I am sure Devendra Fadnavis will take a good decision and the Maratha community will get justice: Ramdas Athawale
A day after the Bombay high court, at a special hearing, gave an opportunity to a Maratha quota activist and his associates to “ensure that the streets are cleaned up, vacated of the occupation by the protesters, which would include all such places which are being occupied” by Tuesday noon, the Acting Chief Justice-led bench set him a 3 pm deadline to vacate Azad Maidan, the designated spot for protests.
The ACJ, Shree Chandrashekhar, and Justice Aarti Sathe asked Jarange’s senior counsel, Satish Maneshinde, how the activist was still sitting at the site without permission. The bench said if you want the matter to be heard, he must first vacate by 3 pm.

You will not know whether they are Mumbaikars or Marathas. Next Monday whatever happens will be because of Fadnavis' mistake," Jarange claimed, adding he has no bitterness towards the CM."He also asked the Maratha protesters to maintain peace and said he will ensure the government accepts his demand for quota and issues a GR recognising Marathas as Kunbi - an agrarian caste included in the Other Backward Classes category - which will make them eligible for reservation in government jobs and education.Even if I die, Marathas should stay calm
Don’t forget that your leaders will also have to come to Maharashtra. If you insult us, you will create a desire for revenge.
The Hyderabad and Satara gazettes should be implemented, Marathas and Kunbis should be declared as one, policemen who attacked protesters should be transferred, and the families of those who died in the protest should be given government jobs.
"If you arrest us, it will be dangerous for you. If you resort to a lathi charge, it will be even more dangerous."
"More Marathas will come to Mumbai on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a major protest on Monday. CM Fadnavis has troubled us and lied to the court."
The Mumbai Police on Tuesday issued a notice to Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil directing him to vacate Azad Maidan, where he and his supporters have been protesting for the past four days.Police said the notice also sought an explanation from Jarange over multiple violations allegedly committed by his supporters, including traffic disruptions, damage to public property, and unauthorized activities at the protest site.
