PATNA: Two people killed and six others were injured after a house wall collapsed in Bihar’s Aurangabad district during a wedding gathering, police said on Sunday.The victims were identified as Akhileshwar Yadav (55) and Satyanarayan Yadav (65), a senior police officer confirmed.The incident occurred on Saturday night in the Obra area, where several people had gathered to watch a wedding ceremony. According to police, the wall of a nearby house suddenly gave way and fell on those present.Nitish Kumar said villagers reported that the wall collapsed without warning while the ceremony was underway.A police team rushed to the spot after receiving the information, he said."Two died on the spot, and the six injured were immediately taken to the nearest government hospital. Their condition is stated to be out of danger," the station house officer said.Police later sent the bodies for post-mortem examination. "The bodies were sent for the post-mortem examinations," the SHO added, noting that the incident is currently under investigation.
