20 different breeds participate in dog show

PATNA: As many as 210 dogs participated in a dog show organized by the Dog Lovers’ Club, Patna, on the premises of Sinha Library here on Sunday.
A lot of dog lovers had gathered there to watch the different breeds of dogs. The show was inaugurated by state animal husbandry and fisheries resources minister Ram Narayan Mandal.
Arya Achintya of Boring Road, who was carrying his Ladrador said, “For the first time I am participating in a dog show.I am very happy to see the crowd of dog lovers. It doesn’t matter if my dog wins or not, but at least I saw the love of dog lovers for dogs.”
The people, including kids and old people, had brought their dogs for the show. Club secretary V K Sinha said that 210 dogs of 20 different breeds participated in the show. The purpose of the event was to generate love for dogs among people and also to make them aware of canine care.”
Mantosh Kumar’s Rottwhieler was declared the winner of the show followed by Sujeet Kumar’s Pug while German Shepherd of Sulochana was declared the second runner up.
