Patna: Patna: With the successful completion of undergraduate (UG) Semester-II examinations on Wednesday, Patliputra University (PPU) has decided to conduct centralised answer book evaluation from June 10 to 20 at two centres—TPS College, Patna, and SPM College, Biharsharif in Nalanda district.
According to PPU examination controller
Manoj Kumar, around 5,000 examiners have been shortlisted to evaluate answer scripts of regular arts, science and commerce streams. Nearly 90,000 students appeared in the UG Semester-II examinations this year, prompting the university administration to make elaborate arrangements for smooth and transparent evaluation, he said.
The evaluation process will be carried out under strict protocols to ensure transparency, accuracy and timely publication of results. The university has set a target to announce the UG semester-II results by the end of June so that the academic calendar for the 2026–27 session can be implemented in line with Lok Bhavan guidelines, Kumar added.
Meanwhile, the university is preparing to conduct UG vocational Part-I examinations from June 4 at six centres in Patna and Nalanda districts. This will be followed by UG Semester-IV examinations from June 18 at 42 centres across the two districts.
Kumar said the vice-chancellor is personally monitoring arrangements for both evaluation and examinations. The university’s examination control room expressed confidence that all upcoming examinations and evaluation work would be completed within the stipulated timeline without disrupting the academic schedule.
