Gym owner injured after two men riding a two-wheeler open fire in Pune
Pune: Two men riding a two-wheeler fired three rounds in the direction of two others, in which one of them sustained injuries, around 10pm on Wednesday near Shinde High School on Padmavati-Sahakarnagar road. The two then sped away towards Taljai Vasahat, Sahakarnagar police said.Officials from crime branch of Sahakarnagar and Parvati police stations studied the CCTV footage. Three suspects in all have been identified. Searches were on at Janata Vasahat and Taljai Vasahat, the police said. The firing was triggered by old enmity, they said.The police moved the injured person, identified as a 35-year-old gym owner from Dhankavdi, to a nearby hospital. The injured person and his friends were standing on the road and were speaking with each other when the suspects fired three bullets and one of the bullets hit the injured person.
