Police do not find Puja Khedkar’s mother in bungalow during visit

Pune: Officials from Chatushrungi and Rabale police stations visited the residence of the dismissed IAS probationer, Puja Khedkar, on Tuesday morning, looking for her mother, Manorama. However, the teams did not find her in the bungalow.Chatushrungi police want to record her statement in a case of obstructing a public servant from the discharge of duty, while Rabale police are looking for Manorama and others in their probe in an abduction case.Senior inspector Uttam Bhajnawale from Chatushrungi police station told TOI: "None of the family members was present in their bungalow on Baner Road. Their caretakers answered our questions, and our teams returned to the police station."The Rabale police team is camping in Pune city, Bhajnawale said.
