Elephant attack kills man, sparks panic in Giridih

Bokaro: A 25-year-old man, Kausar Ansari, was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Giridih on Monday, the third such death in 10 days. Ansari had gone to cut bamboo near Gadaiya village. DFO Vikas Ujjwal said, "The elephants became aggressive after being teased by local people." Villagers alleged warnings brought no adequate preventive measures.
