Ranchi: The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) is planning to develop another 20 unused plots in the city facing neglect, by turning them into green patches.
“The civic body has already developed 20 such patches earlier by designing small parks with green landscaping and installing benches for visitors to rest,” said Suraj Prakash Singh Chaudhary, assistant municipal commissioner. He added, “All the wasteland was turned into green patches to ensure that those were not encroached upon again.”
He, however, said that no pathways have been developed for morning walkers.
The patches were development work has been completed are along the boundary wall of Mecon, along AG Office Chowk, Mishra Chowk, Judge Colony Lane in Doranda, near Jai Hind Pharma, along the boundary wall of Ranchi University, Machhli Ghar, opposite SBI building, Surendra Nath School, near a vertical wall in Judge Colony, before and in Judge Colony, Kanke, in front of JBVNL office, Police Lines and in front of CM secretariat.
