Three killed in road accident in West Singhbhum
Kolkata, Dec 27 (IANS) Three people were killed in a road accident caused by dense fog in West Bengal's Alipurduar district on Saturday.
Jamshedpur: Three people were killed after a bus collided with a motorbike in Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum on Friday. Police said the vehicles collided near Concept Public School on Manoharpur-Chakradharpur Road. The bus, moving towards Chakradharpur, collided head-on with the motorbike which was speeding from the opposite direction.The deceased, identified as Ganesh Nayak, Shyamal Gope and Krishna Nayak, were in their early twenties and were travelling to Sonua block on the two-wheeler. Ganesh and Shyamal died on the spot while Krishna died on way to hospital. Awadesh Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Chakradharpur police station said an investigation had been initiated.
