832 new Covid cases in region, 3 die in Pb

Shimla/Chandigarh: The three northern states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh logged 832 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, while four deaths were reported during the day.
Himachal reported 422 cases even as 424 patients recovered. The state has 3,17,012 confirmed positive cases of which 1,762 are active, 3,11,025 are of recovery while 4,204 have died.
In Haryana, 324 people tested positive. The number of Covid positive cases in the state has reached 10,60,472 while the number of deaths till date are 10,718. Punjab was the only state in the region to report three deaths during the day, even as 86 fresh cases surfaced in the state. tnn
