THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: At least five people were injured after a ride collapsed at an amusement park near Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday, police said.According to news agency PTI, the incident took place under the Venjaramoodu police station limits when the ride reportedly malfunctioned while operating, causing it to collapse suddenly.According to officials, the injured were rescued immediately and shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not serious.Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the malfunction.
