Bihar youth shot by friends in Ballia, love triangle suspected
Varanasi: A youth from Buxar in Bihar was critically injured after being shot by his friends in Sohav village under Narahi police station on Sunday evening, with police suspecting a love triangle behind the attack.The injured, identified as Aryan Yadav, had reportedly come to Ballia with his friends Bom and Bablu Yadav on a motorcycle. According to police, the duo opened an indiscriminate fire at Aryan near Sohav village and fled the scene.Hearing the gunshots, villagers alerted police, who rushed to the spot and rushed the youth to a hospital. Due to his critical condition, he was later referred to the trauma centre at BHU in Varanasi.ASP (South) Kripa Shankar said the accused have been identified and teams have been deployed to arrest them. Prima facie, the incident appears to be linked to a dispute over a love affair, though further investigation is underway.
