Two criminals fall in police net

Varanasi: In a joint operation of Luxa, Sigra and Chetganj police, two notorious criminals were nabbed in Sidhgiribag locality on Friday. The police also recovered two countrymade pistols, two live cartridges, a stolen two-wheeler and Rs 9,500 from them.
According to reports, the arrested criminals, Deepak Verma and Tinku alias Shaukat Ali, both natives of Bhelupur, were intercepted when they were crossing through Sidhgiribag.During interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in recent loot cases in Lahangpur and Sonia localities.
