Tirupati: Nellore rural
TDP legislator Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy laid the foundation stone for a record number of 168 development works worth ₹17 crore on Friday.
In a push for fuel conservation, Kotamreddy arrived on an electric bike at Gadam Rosaiah Nagar to lay the foundation stone for the development works.
Claiming that his austerity was influenced by the clarion calls given by prime minister
Narendra Modi and chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Nellore rural legislator asserted that public representatives hold a responsibility to adopt conservation measures personally before expecting the public to follow suit.
Shifting his focus to the development works being launched simultaneously across the Nellore rural assembly constituency, Kotamreddy stated that nearly ₹700 crore worth of development works have been completed, grounded, or moved to the tender stage in the Nellore Rural Assembly segment since the coalition government assumed office.
The Nellore rural legislator assured the people that the 168 development works for which foundation stones were laid on Friday, shall be completed within a timeframe of 60 days.
