Visakhapatnam: A total of 3,200 two-wheeler riders have got their driving licenses suspended for three months due to riding the bikes without helmets in the city between Sept 2 and 6. The Road Transport Authority (RTA) personnel and Vizag city police have intensified the drive against traffic violators and now riding without helmets attracts suspension of driving licenses for three months, besides the usual e-challan.
The police said surprise raids will continue to bookcases for riding without head-guards.TNN
