Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Balak Nath emerged victorious and became the Member of Parliament from this seat, securing a total of 760,201 votes.

Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Bhanwar Jitendra Singh stood second with a total of 430,230 votes, losing by a margin of 329,971 votes. This constituency saw a voter turnout of 66.82% in the year 2019.
Congress candidate for the Alwar seat Lalit Yadav started his political career in the BSP and shifted to Congress later. Lalit contested the 2018 Assembly polls on a BSP ticket from Mundawar and came second.
