Prince Jackson has opened up about watching the much-anticipated Michael, which stars Jaafar Jackson in the lead role. The film, based on the life of Michael Jackson, has been receiving praise, with members of the late pop icon’s family actively promoting it and attending premieres in Los Angeles and Berlin.

In a recent conversation with ABC News, Prince spoke about the emotional experience of watching a biopic on his father, portrayed by his cousin.
“For those of us who were lucky enough to grow up with The Jackson 5 and the Jacksons, hopefully it will reinstate that feeling of nostalgia and fun and family,” the 29-year-old said.
He further shared what he hopes audiences take away from the film, adding, “I hope that it contextualizes the growth and the rise to stardom and the hard work and effort that my father put into [his career]. Overall, just being a really fun, entertaining time for children of all ages.”
About the ‘Michael’ biopic
The film, which released worldwide on April 24, has opened to strong numbers. According to early reports, it has grossed around ₹12 crore in India so far, with total gross collections at approximately ₹12.36 crore and net collections at ₹10.30 crore.
Apart from Jaafar Jackson, the film also stars Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Jessica Sula, Mike Myers, Miles Teller, and Colman Domingo in key roles.
The biopic traces Michael Jackson’s journey to global stardom while also exploring the dynamics of the Jackson family.
