After Salman Khan, Sonu Sood, Vijender Singh comes in support of Rajpal Yadav amidst his cheque bounce case, offers him his next film

Actor Rajpal Yadav has been making headlines after surrendering at Tihar Jail in connection with his ongoing debt and cheque-bounce case. In the midst of this difficult period, several colleagues from the film fraternity have rallied around him. After support poured in from stars like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Sonu Sood, boxer-turned-actor Vijender Singh has now stepped forward with a gesture of solidarity, offering Yadav a role in his next film rather than direct financial assistance.

Taking to X on Sunday, Vijender shared, “I respect true talent. @rajpalofficial has given a lot to Indian cinema. He’s brought a smile to our faces through various characters. I invite Rajpal Yadav to be a part of my next film, which is written and directed by @thesanjusaini, and we want to support him at this time (fist emoji)."





Filmmaker Sanju Saini, who is helming the project, reshared the post and added, “We love to see @rajpalofficial Sir on our set. Thanks @boxervijender bhaisaab… Ye support sirf Rajpal Yadav sir ko hi nhi, humari film ko bhi bada kregi… thanks a lot bhaisaab (This support will not only help Rajpal Yadav, but also make our film much bigger)."



The legal trouble stems from a loan taken years ago. As per reports, in 2010, Rajpal borrowed Rs 5 crore from Delhi-based Murali Projects Pvt. Ltd. to fund his directorial venture, Ata Pata Laapata. The film failed to perform at the box office, leaving him struggling to repay the amount.

Meanwhile, Rajpal Yadav's wife Radha Yadav spoke about him in an exclusive chat with Bombay Times and thanked people in the industry for their support. When asked how he was doing, she said, “He is okay, from what I understand.” Speaking about the support he has been receiving from the industry, Radha added, “Our whole family is together at this time. We are very grateful for the support and love he is receiving from his fans and the film fraternity.”There have been rumours that multiple actors such as Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and others have paid off the actors debt, Radha addressed the speculations, and clarified, "I can’t take any specific names right now, but I would just want to say many people from the industry have stepped in to support. I’m not able to divulge names and figures at this stage. We are very hopeful that he will be out soon. That’s all I can say now.
