This was much anticipated after this first look teaser was launched first in LA and Ranbir was present there. However, Ranbir's absence from this high-profile media event on Thursday morning has raised eyebrows and left people disappointed. However, despite the presence of cameras, journalists, and a full-scale setup, Ranbir himself was conspicuously missing. This event was to also show the media the first look teaser in IMAX since the film is made for that format. This launch event did not just have journalists and paparazzi but also several fans of Ranbir who came in large numbers from different parts of the city and were left disappointed as the actor was not present.

Interestingly, just a day prior, the actor had attended an exclusive, closed-door screening organised for select media houses, where he appeared alongside Tiwari and Malhotra. The contrast between his presence at the private preview and absence at the official unveiling left many on-ground reporters puzzled about the sudden change, as reported by IANS.
Adding to the intrigue, Ranbir had also been actively participating in promotional activities elsewhere, including attending a recent event for the film in Los Angeles. His absence became even more noticeable given that the occasion marked the unveiling of his look as Rama—one of the film’s most significant moments.The film features a star-studded ensemble, including Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Yash, Ravie Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta among others in pivotal roles.Shot for IMAX, the film is slated for a global release, with Part 1 expected to arrive during Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027. The music for the project brings together two global icons, Hans Zimmer and A. R.
