Suniel Shetty to team up with Tiger Shroff for an action thriller, shooting to start in April - Reports

After previously sharing the screen with Jackie Shroff in memorable films such as ‘Border’, ‘Refugee’, and ‘Baaz: A Bird In Danger’, Suniel Shetty is now all set to team up with Jackie’s son, Tiger, for an exciting new project. Their upcoming collaboration has already generated buzz among fans, marking a new chapter in the long-standing camaraderie between the Shetty and Shroff families. According to reports, Suniel has officially joined the cast of Tiger’s next film, and the pairing is expected to bring together experience and youthful energy on screen.

According to a report by Variety India, Suniel’s character details have been kept under tight wraps, though the report suggests he will be seen in a key role in the action-packed thriller led by Tiger. The movie is scheduled to go on floors on April 10 in Mumbai, with grand sets being prepared in Goregaon and Malad. The team is expected to complete filming by July 2026.

Kannada filmmaker Sachin Ravi, who gained recognition for directing Rakshit Shetty’s 2019 cop drama ‘Avane Srimannarayan’, is set to helm this yet-untitled film. The project marks his much-awaited debut in Hindi cinema after his earlier attempt, ‘Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues’, a mythological drama featuring Shahid Kapoor, was shelved due to budget issues.

Tiger Shroff and Suniel Shetty’s upcoming movies

After ‘Baaghi 4’, Tiger has moved on to his next project, Raj Mehta’s romantic revenge drama ‘Lag Jaa Gale’, where he will be seen alongside Lakshya and Janhvi Kapoor. The actor also has another major film in the pipeline, Ram Madhavani’s ‘Vajra’, a grand spiritual action saga that is slated to begin filming around September 2026, following the completion of Murad Khetani’s upcoming venture.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty’s next release, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, is slated to hit theatres on June 26, 2026.
