'Pallichattambi': Tovino Thomas shares INTENSE motion poster; confirms summer release date

‘Pallichattambi’ is a summer release

Tovino Thomas has joined hands with ‘Jana Gana Mana’ director Dijo Jose Antony for ‘Pallichattambi’. The makers have now confirmed that the film will hit the theatres on April 9.





On Tuesday, January 9, Dijo Jose Antony dropped a motion poster, announcing the release date. He captioned it, “The destined moment is arriving. #Pallichattambi - April 9, 2026.”

The motion poster, elevated by an adrenaline-pumping voiceover by Tovino Thomas, offers a glimpse into the film’s intense tone.

All about ‘Pallichattambi’

Helmed by Dijo Jose Antony, ‘Pallichattambi’ is expected to present Tovino Thomas in a never-before-seen avatar. The film is reportedly set in the 1950s–60s. Starring Tovino Thomas, the film also features actor Kayadu Lohar, best known for her performance in the Tamil blockbuster 'Dragon', as the female lead. Actors Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, and Prashanth Alexander are also part of the cast. The film is being released in five languages, including Malayalam.

On the technical front, the film's script has been penned by S Suresh Babu. The cinematography of ‘Pallichattambi’ is handled by Tijo Tomy. The music is done by Jakes Bejoy. The editing is done by Sreejith Sarang, and the production design is done by Dileep Nath. Rajesh Menon is the art director. The costumes are designed by Manjusha Radhakrishnan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Tovino Thomas also has ‘Athiradi’ gearing up for release. The upcoming Malayalam film has Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, and Vineeth Sreenivasan in lead roles. ‘Athiradi’ is scheduled for release on May 14.

On the personal front, Tovino Thomas is currently holidaying in Norway with his family.
