Pandiraaj, who is gearing up for the release of
Jayaram and Urvashi starrer 'Parimala & Co'. Recently, the ace filmmaker revealed how he managed to complete the shooting of the film in a very short period.
During the pre-release event of the film, actress Urvasi had praised the director for wrapping up the project quickly, as per an IANS report. She also shared that Malayalam films are usually completed in a short time and said Pandiraaj had finished his Tamil film even faster.
Speaking about it, Pandiraaj said that the film was shot in just 45 days. He explained that if double call sheets were counted separately, the shooting duration could be considered around 60 days. Even then, he felt the entire team deserved appreciation for completing the work smoothly and on time.
Director Pandiraaj gives credit to team
Pandiraaj said that the credit did not belong to him alone. He said, “We shot the film in 45 days. If you have to be technical and consider all the double call sheets as two days instead of one, you could say it took us 60 days. The credit for being able to shoot this film in such a short time goes completely to my team and to my artistes. All my artistes are one take artistes. So, when you have such artistes, you naturally will be able to complete it swiftly.”

‘Parimala & Co’ is Pandiraaj’s 12th film as a director. The movie is said to be a mix of thriller and comedy. The story revolves around a family and focuses on the different personalities of its members. It also explores the problems they face in their lives.
