The buzz around ‘Peddi’, one of the most awaited pan-India films starring Ram Charan, continues to grow with every update. Ahead of its release, the film’s team, including Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Shiva Rajkumar, attended a grand press meet in Bengaluru. While the event was meant to celebrate the film’s promotions, it quickly turned controversial after a disturbing video surfaced online showing chaos near the stage involving security personnel and fans.

Viral video shows female fans allegedly manhandled by security

A clip from the Bengaluru event has now sparked strong reactions on social media. From the viral video, one can see a few women fans getting forcefully handled by the security guards who prevented them from coming closer to the stage in an attempt to catch a glimpse of Ram Charan. The entire situation turned chaotic, causing netizens to express outrage over what happened. They questioned why the crowd was not handled better and criticized the actor for not intervening amid the chaos. The makers and the lead actors are yet to address this concern at the time of writing.

Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ creates massive hype

'Peddi' features Ram Charan in a completely new avatar as a crossover athlete, showcasing him as a cricketer, wrestler, and sprinter.
