Shivani Rajasekhar drops out of Miss India competition for personal reasons

Shivani Rajasekhar unexpectedly dropped out of the Miss India pageant, though she was scheduled to compete in a few days. Yes, you heard it right! Ace Tollywood actor Rajasekhar's daughter dropped out of the beauty pageant. Shivani Rajasekhar represented Tamil Nadu in the Miss India pageant. She has been selected as Miss-Tamil Nadu amidst huge competition. With only a few days left until the final battle, she announced her withdrawal from the competition.

Shivani took to her Instagram handle and announced the same with a heartfelt note. She wrote, ''It was very unfortunate that I missed out on majority of training and grooming sessions and the sub-contests, first because of my medical theory exams and then I was down with Malaria. I was hoping to bounce back soon. But nothing seems to work my way. My practical exams have been preponed, and they have started from today, and I have an exam on the 3rd July too, which is the same Miss India Grand Finale Day!!''

''Therefore with a heavy heart, I’m here confirming that I won’t be a part of Femina Miss India Journey anymore. Thank you for being a wonderful team Miss India ORG and for constantly supporting me in every possible way especially Varsha Gupta mam much love and miss you guys. Hopefully I’ll come back next year, and I wish all the very best to all the super-talented and beautiful finalists for the grand finale! Go Girls!'' she added.

She concluded, ''And I’m very thankful for all the love and best wishes coming my from my friends, well-wishers and supporters. And sorry for not being able to go ahead in the contest. I’m shattered too. And regarding my health, I’m doing much better, and in Guntur right now for my exams. Wish me luck!''


On the work front, Shivani has starred in films like 'Adbhutam' and 'Shekhar.' Currently, she is working on a web series. The actress seems to be busy with movies again soon after the medical exams.
