Plot: A girl suffering from hyperthymesia ends up as a pawn in a political game
Review: Chief Minister (Dinesh Mangalore) favours his daughter (Anita Bhat) over his son to carry forward the party’s reigns. But the home minister (Bala Rajwadi) wants to dethrone the chief minister. The chief minister, who doesn’t trust anyone, entrusts Asiya Firdose, a girl with hyperthymesia, to guard his secrets. Hyperthymesia is a condition that allows people to remember every event of their life with great precision. But once his rivals get to know about this secret, the cat-and-mouse chase begins!
The entire film takes place in a day - from 6 am to 6 pm. Hence, there are plenty of characters that keep coming and going at regular intervals. In fact, even in the second half, the audience are introduced to several new characters. Though the film’s story is solid, the execution is very poor. The story seems to have lost its shine from the paper-to-screen translation. The story builds up a good climax, where all loose ends from the beginning of the film come together. The climax twist is enjoyable.
Actors like Tilak, Anita Bhat, Shobhraj and Asiya Firdose have poured their souls into the characters, and keep the audience guessing about their true intentions. The newbies and a couple of character artists, however, distract the flow with their immature acting skills.
