Will Smith is a Gandhi fan

Withi being a rage across theglobe, could Hollywood be far behind ? No. And one actor who's completely bowledover by Gandhi's philosophies is none other than Hollywood superstar Will Smith.That's what Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor found out recently. It happened when Anil recentlyarranged a private screening of his ambitious venture, that incidentallymarks his debut as a producer. Though absolutely no one from either Anil'sfamily or the industry has even seen a still of this flick, Hollywood hottieSmith was among the privileged few who saw some portions of the film at aHollywood screening held to attract overseas distributors. An insider reveals,"Will was very impressed withthe canvas of the film and the emotional intensity of the actors . But the mostsurprising factor was that Smith was very knowledgeable about Gandhi and hisideas. He told Anil that he had also seen Richard Attenborough's version andthat he really believed in Gandhi. He also said that he found him very inspiring. This left Anil both surprised and proud." When contacted, Anil confirmed thenews and revealed that he was quite surprised to find out how much Smith knewabout Gandhi. He said, "We have kept the film under wraps for certain reasons.And I was pleasantly surprised to know that Smith knows a lot about Gandhi."
