NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party on Wednesday announced three spokespersons as part of its effort to "change India's political discourse". The move comes a day after activist and educator
Sonam Wangchuk decided to join the online movement.
The CJP, which began as a viral online phenomenon and turned into a unique political formation, has named
Saurav Das, Vijeta Dahiya and Ashutosh Ranka as its official spokespersons.
In the announcement, CJP also reiterated its ambition to reshape political discourse in India.
Posting from an alternative X account after its original handle was suspended, the CJP said: "CJP is committed to changing the political discourse of India, and this will be led by a new generation of leaders."
In another post on X, the Cockroach Janta Party announced its first-ever presser that will take place on Wednesday, June 3. The CJP informed that the three spokespersons will address the press conference.
The spokespersons will also share details on proposed protest scheduled for June 6.
The development comes days after founder Abhijeet Dipke announced that he would return from the United States on June 6.
Dipke called on supporters to join him in what he described as a collective movement, while continuing his criticism of the Centre and demanding the resignation of Union education minister
Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG fiasco.
