PM Modi Ahmedabad Live Updates: The 'Bharat Shakti' exercise will showcase indigenous weapons and platforms to demonstrate the country's strength, based on the nation's Aatmanirbharata initiative. It will simulate realistic, synchronised multi-domain operations, showcasing the integrated operational prowess of the Indian Armed Forces in addressing threats spanning across land, air, sea, cyber, and space domains. The exercise features a range of advanced equipment and weapons systems, such as T-90 (IM) Tanks, Dhanush and Sarang Gun Systems, Akash Weapons Systems, Logistics Drones, Robotic Mules, Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), and various unmanned aerial vehicles. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in 'India's Techade: Chips for Viksit Bharat' and lay the foundation stone of three semiconductor projects worth about Rs 1.25 lakh crore on Wednesday via video-conferencing.He will also address youth across the country on the occasion, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement.It said that in line with his vision to position India as a global hub for semiconductor design, manufacturing and technology development, and boosting employment opportunities for the youth, Modi will lay the foundation stone for semiconductor projects in the Dholera Special Investment Region and Sanand in Gujarat and in Morigaon in Assam.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the roar of aircraft mid-air and the valour displayed on the ground during the Bharat Shakti exercise conducted in Rajasthan's Pokharan portend the new India.
PM Modi, who witnessed the tri-service exercise 'Bharat Shakti' in Rajasthan's Pokhran on Tuesday, lauded the bravery of all three forces--the Army, Air Force and Navy.
"The scenes we saw today, the bravery of our three forces, are wonderful; this roar in the sky, this battle on the ground, the cry of victory echoes in all directions. This is the call of a new India...If we want to make India 'viksit', then we need to reduce our dependence on others. That's why India is focusing on 'atmanirbharta' in every sector, from edible oils to modern aircraft," PM Modi said at the Exercise Bharat Shakti in Pokhran.

At the Exercise Bharat Shakti in Pokhran, Rajasthan, PM Narendra Modi says "India becoming self-reliant in defence needs is also a guarantee of confidence in the armies. At the time of war, when the armies know that the weapons they are using are their own and will never fall short, then the energy of the armies increases manifold. In the last 10 years, India has developed its own fighter aircraft. India has built its own aircraft carriers, C295 transport aircraft are being built in India. Modern engines are also going to be manufactured in India. Some days the cabinet has taken another big decision, now we are going to design, develop and manufacture the fifth generation fighter aircraft in India itself."
