Portronics unveils 16,000mAh power bank at Rs 3,299

NEW DELHI: IT accessory brand Portronics has announced its power bank PowerNote with a capacity of 16,000mAh. The company claims it to be among the slimmest 16,000mAh power banks available in the market. Priced at Rs 3,299, the device looks like a notebook and comes with LCD display that displays power status.

Powered by Lithium-Polymer cells, the Portronics PowerNote is compatible with a range of devices including iPhones, iPads, iPods, Android phones, digital cameras and portable speakers.

Portronics claims that the power bank can “charge your iPhone 6s eight times or your Galaxy S6 more than five times on a single recharge.” It offers dual-USB outputs -- 1 A and 2.1A — along with an On/Off switch.

The power bank comes in Black colour.

Recently, Ambrane had launched a 13,000mAh power bank for Rs 949. The power bank - P1310 -- features two USB 2.0 ports, one micro-USB port and gives 5V/2.1A max (Auto switch mobile phone dependent) output. It claims to support up to 3.5 full charges.

Portronics had earlier launched its Muffs XT on-ear Bluetooth headphone at a price tag of Rs 1,999. The headphone come with a built-in microphone and ear-pad mounted controls and allows users to control music and phone calls. The company claims over 12 hours of non-stop music on a single recharge.

The Muffs XT features Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity and is compatible with almost all Bluetooth-enabled devices. Muffs - XT comes with 40mm drivers and is powered by a 195mAh battery and gets fully charged within two hours, according to the company .
