Vihari, Ashwin resume India 2nd innings

Rishabh Pant was hit on the left elbow in the first innings. So severe was the blow that he had to be taken to the hospital for the scans. But when the team needed him to step up in the second innings, Pant came up with a heroic knock hitting 97 runs, falling short of a deserving hundred by just three runs. One error in judgment and Cheteshwar Pujara's dogged 77-run knock came to an end. India now have a batsman with pulled hamstring (Vihari) and Ashwin at the crease and need 127 more runs to win. Australia need 5 wickets. Still all three results possible. One session left.
