Recently, a light-hearted video featuring him has gone viral on social media, showing the senior cricketer sharing a laugh with team physiotherapist Amit Dubey. Along with Rohit, pacer Jasprit Bumrah and opener Shubman Gill also underwent their fitness tests in Bengaluru, ensuring that the team’s key players are in top condition ahead of the busy international schedule.Rohit, now 38, last featured in a competitive match for Mumbai Indians during the IPL 2025 clash against Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad, where he managed just eight runs. His most recent international outing came in the Champions Trophy final against New Zealand on March 9 in Dubai, where he played a match-winning knock of 76 off 83 balls, earning the Player of the Match award as India lifted the trophy.The veteran opener has already called time on his Test career, announcing his retirement on May 7, but continues to be a crucial figure in India’s white-ball setup.
