Patrick Mahomes has always remained calm on the field. Even during the tough times of his career, the Chiefs QB continues to find ways to stay positive and focused. While folks remain concerned about his long road to recovery, Mahomes has now taken a major step away from football that reflects his passion beyond the NFL.
The 30-year-old QB is currently nursing his knee injury that ended the season earlier than expected. Even with the physical crisis, the star QB remains active in defining his career off the field, this time by entering the world of professional golf through a high-profile brand partnership.
Patrick Mahomes becomes Adidas Golf's global ambassador
On Jan 22, 2026, Adidas officially announced Patrick Mahomes as the new face of its global golf line. The partnership will include signature apparel, footwear, and lifestyle products under the Adidas Golf brand, marking Mahomes’ first major golf endorsement deal.
The development was first reported by Yahoo Sports on Jan 22, during the PGA Merchandise Show held in Orlando. Adidas Golf president Jeff Lienhart confirmed that Mahomes’ products will reach the market in the coming months.
Yahoo reported on Instagram that Adidas announced it’s preparing a Patrick Mahomes golf line. "Adidas announced it’s preparing a Patrick Mahomes golf line,” Yahoo Sports reported on Instagram.
“Complete details have yet to be announced, but Adidas Golf president Jeff Lienhart suggested some items from it will ‘hit the market sooner than later.”
Mahomes has often spoken about his love for golf, especially during the NFL offseason. He regularly participates in celebrity golf tournaments and charity events, and has shared multiple moments from the golf course with teammates and fellow athletes over the years.
The timing of the announcement matters. Mahomes is currently rehabbing from an ACL and LCL injury he suffered during the KC's playoff game in Dec. 2025. The injury ruled him out for the remainder of the postseason and placed his 2026 return under close watch.
Addressing his return on Jan 10, star QB said, “It’s about staying patient and trusting the process. I’ve faced setbacks before, and I know the only way forward is to keep working and stay mentally strong.”
Away from the gridiron, Mahomes continues to focus on his family and personal growth. He often credited his love, Brittany Mahomes, for keeping him grounded during tough times and helping him stay motivated through injuries and career pressure.
His return to the football scene is unclear. The star QB still steals the show, even without being on the gridiron. He inspires by finding ways beyond setbacks and by staying disciplined in every phase of his life.
