Jeff Hardy pays tribute to late Bray Wyatt with face paint design

Jeff Hardy, one half of the famous Hardy Boyz is known for his high flying in-ring action, and the quirky face paint designs that he comes up with whenever he’s stepping into the ring. In a recent TNA taping, Nero was seen sporting a face paint that’s quite similar to the mask that the late Bray Wyatt used to wear while entering the ring in his Fiend gimmick. Bray Wyatt was an exceptionally talented wrestler but he passed away in August last year, which came as a shock to the entire world of professional wrestling including the fans. It’s safe to say that both Bray Wyatt and Jeff Hardy have made significant contributions to the world of professional wrestling. This tribute took place on the September 19 edition of TNA where Jeff was seen sporting a Fiend-themed face paint for the matchup against Tasha Steele, Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers. Nero, and his brother teamed up with Masha Slammovich to take on the team mentioned above, and it was a match worth watching. It had some really high flying spots, and the Hardy Boyz and Masha picked up the win after pinning Myers following a Twist of Fate from Matt and a Swanton bomb from Jeff. However, the main highlight of the match was Jeff’s face paint, which sat very well with the wrestling community, and from an artistic perspective, it was a near perfect representation of the mask that Bray Wyatt wore during his time with the WWE.Also read: Rhea Ripley Reveals Her Dream Team for WWE WarGames While this can be just a tribute for now, it could also be a hint at things that are to come. While the Hardy Boyz aren’t on a fixed contract with the TNA, they’re still associated with the company on a pay-per-appearance basis. Not only that, TNA is also associated with the WWE at this point in time. So, there’s a chance, although a bleak one, that the two of them could eventually make their way to WWE and be involved in a spot with the WYATT SICKS. This last bit is speculation for now, so readers are advised to take it with a grain of salt.
