Xiaomi is bringing the 17T to India on June 4, a week after its global unveiling in Vienna on May 28. The launch marks the return of Xiaomi's T series to the country—the last time it showed up here was with the 11T Pro in 2022.
India is only getting the standard 17T. The 17T Pro stays a global-market exclusive.
Leica cameras confirmed for Xiaomi 17T
Xiaomi has confirmed that the 17T will feature a Leica co-engineered rear camera system, though the full details are still trickling in. Interestingly, the teaser shows a quad-camera layout, while leaked specs point to a triple rear setup—a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide. Given that the 17T sits within Xiaomi's broader Leica co-engineered 17 lineup, it will likely inherit the same Leica-tuned software modes and colour profiles as its siblings.
On the hardware side, leaked specs suggest a 6.59-inch 1.5K+ flat LTPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek's Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, a 6,500mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Xiaomi says it will keep revealing more about the 17T through May 26, so expect a few more teasers before the global debut. After launch, the phone will be available in India via mi.com, Amazon.in, and offline stores.
