PUNE: The BCCI inquiry committee may have decided to refer the Abhijit Kale case to the Disciplinary Committee. But the cricketer maintains that he is not guilty.

Former India batsman Abhijit Kale has been named as chairman of Maharashtra Cricket Association’s senior selection committee. He replaces former Maharashtra captain Milind Gunjal, who is a coach of the state’s U-16 team. Kale played one ODI for India in 2003 and played First-Class cricket from 1993-94 to 2006-07. He was an attractive middle-order batsman known for his exquisite shot-making.
