With 127 more people testing positive for Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, the number of confirmed cases in the state rises to 2,455, officials said here. About 3% of the active Covid-19 cases in the state have been hospitalised in the current surge, as per the official data released on Friday. A total 4,228 more cases were recorded in the state on Friday, taking the active cases to 12,327.

Uttar Pradesh crossed another milestone in Covid-19 vaccinations on Monday by administering a total of more than 16 crore doses. With this, over 76% of the eligible population of the state has received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine while 33% are fully vaccinated.
