Actor Adarsh Gourav has ventured into documentary storytelling with Voices of the Land, an upcoming docu-series exploring the culture, traditions and biodiversity of Northeast India. The series follows his journey across the region as he engages with indigenous communities through their folklore, music, rituals and everyday lives. Featuring the Khasi, Biate, Sherdukpen and Angami communities, the documentary highlights their connection with nature and the need to preserve cultural heritage. Reflecting on the experience, Adarsh calls it one of his most eye-opening journeys as a storyteller and emphasises the importance of protecting both biodiversity and traditional wisdom.

Odisha is set to get its first bee corridor. The National Highways Authority of India will plant nearly 20,000 flowering trees along highways in Sambalpur, Dhenkanal, and Ganjam districts.
