Karan Wahi breaks silence on wedding rumours with Dill Mill Gayye co-star Jennifer Winget
Karan Wahi and Jennifer Winget, who have shared screen space in multiple television shows and are close friends off screen, are making headlines after wedding rumours about them surfaced online. The Dill Mill Gayye co-stars are reportedly planning to tie the knot soon. However, Karan Wahi has finally broken his silence on the rumours.
Karan and Jennifer's fans have been celebrating ever since the rumours of their wedding started doing the rounds.
During a chat with Hindustan Times, Karan dismissed the rumours and clarified, "Fake News”.
Karan and Jennifer have known each other since their Dill Mill Gayye days. They share a very strong bond in real-life. In Dill Mill Gayye, Jennifer played Dr Riddhima Gupta while Karan Wahi was seen as Dr Siddhant Modi. Apart from Dill Mill Gayye, the duo also shared screen space with each other in an Ad commercial and Raisinghani vs Raisinghani. Nearly 14 years later, the pair reunited on-screen in 2024, in the web series Raisinghani vs Raisinghani. They were paired opposite each other in the show. Their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated by the audience, and while their friendship stayed strong, dating rumours about them also began to circulate.
For those unaware, Karan was earlier linked to Uditi Singh but is currently single. Earlier in 2022, Jennifer was linked with another co-star Tanuj Virwani. However, in an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Jennifer refuted the rumours.
She had shared, "It doesn’t bother me one bit because as long as I know my truth, my family knows the truth, my friends and fans know my truth, that’s all that matters to me. Look I am a public figure and people will have an opinion and judgements about me and that’s ok. As long as they respect my work and the boundaries I am fine with it. I understand it is a part of the job. So it doesn’t bother me."
Jennifer was previously married to actor Karan Singh Grover. The two got married in 2012 but parted ways two years later, officially announcing their separation in November 2014.
