Mom-to-be Karishma Tanna opens up about her ‘South Indian-style’ baby shower ceremony; says, ‘A dream come true’
Actress Karishma Tanna and her husband Varun Bangera are all set to embrace parenthood. The couple shared a series of pictures and videos from their baby shower ceremony on their Instagram handles. Karishma has now penned a long note about her ‘South Indian-style’ baby shower and said that she’s very grateful for all the love she’s been receiving.
Karishma and Varun got married in February 2022. Recently, the duo surprised fans with the news of their baby’s arrival. They shared the happy news by posting adorable photos on social media while wearing “MOM” and “DAD” caps respectively. They are reportedly expecting their baby in August this year.
While sharing a beautiful video from her baby shower ceremony, the actress wrote, “Still soaking in the love, blessings, and emotions from our very first South Indian-style Godh Bharai together. Witnessing the beautiful Tulu rituals, sacred traditions, mantras, flowers, sarees, and every little custom so closely felt truly magical… almost like living a dream we had only imagined. From the poojas and family blessings to the warmth and love in every ritual, the entire day felt so pure, emotional, and deeply special for both of us and our little baby.”
She further wrote, “A dream come true in the most beautiful, traditional way. Our hearts are full. Feeling deeply grateful, protected, pampered, and surrounded by love as we step into this beautiful new chapter together.”
Fans were quick to shower love on the couple in the comments section. While one user wrote, “So beautiful and wholesome,” another commented, “May God bless your little one with happiness and good health.” Several fans also called Karishma’s traditional baby shower ceremony “dreamy,” “heartwarming,” and “full of positivity.”
